Worty
Account deletion
Last updated: 30 August 2026
This page applies to the Worty Android app on Google Play. It explains how to request deletion of your Worty account and related data.
How to delete your account in the app
- Open the Worty app on your device.
- Sign in to your account (email or Google) if you are not already signed in.
- Open Settings (or your account profile).
- Choose Delete account and confirm deletion.
After you confirm, the account is deactivated and related server data is deleted or anonymized within the timeframes below.
How to request deletion without access to the app
- Open the Worty listing on Google Play.
- Find the developer contact / support section and send an account deletion request.
- Include the email address of your Worty account (or the email linked to Google Sign-In) and the subject: “Worty account deletion”.
We will process the request after verifying that it comes from the account owner.
What data is deleted
- account data (email, sign-in identifier);
- server-side profile data and synced vocabulary / progress (if sync is enabled);
- related authentication tokens on our side.
What may remain and for how long
- Local data on the device (vocabulary and settings) may remain until you clear the app’s data or uninstall Worty.
- Android backup — if you enabled Google backup, a copy may be stored under your Google account’s backup rules.
- Anonymized analytics — aggregated information not tied to an account may be kept to improve the product.
- Data the law requires us to keep (for example, purchase-related records, if they exist) — for the period required by law.
- After account deletion, server-side personal data is deleted or anonymized, as a rule, within 30 days, unless the law requires longer retention.
Google Sign-In
Deleting your Worty account does not delete your Google account. If needed, revoke Worty’s access in your Google account settings.
